Why lab-grown diamonds?
Diamond mining has long been in the spotlight because of its environmental and human consequences. Mining can involve harsh working conditions and can harm nature, destroy biodiversity, and leave the land unusable.
Lab-grown diamonds are created by recreating nature’s processes: a small piece of carbon is exposed to high pressure and high heat for weeks, shortening the process from millions of years to just a few months. The result is a diamond with the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as a natural diamond - graded according to the same 4 Cs: Clarity, Cut, Colour, and Carat.
