After I ended my professional swimming career, it was difficult for me to find balance in my life.

I've been used to living a very structured life and always knowing what I had to do - even far into the future.

After I ended my career, I've felt a little out of balance. I've always believed that freedom is being able to do what you want, when you want.

Lately, I've been trying to work on finding more balance in my everyday life - and I've realized that freedom for me can be knowing what I need to do, when I need to do it, and then creating freedom within those boundaries - when I have that, I feel balanced.
