What's your relationship with the sea?
I associate the sea with the unknown, and it reminds me how much we still have to learn. It gives me a sense of humility.
What's your best memory of the sea?
Swimming with sharks at the Great Barrier Reef. It felt like receiving a very special gift to get the chance to see their lives up close beneath the ocean's surface.
What do you do for a more sustainable everyday life?
There are so many simple everyday choices we can make to consume less or differently and thereby produce less waste. For example, I use cold water to wash my clothes and wait to buy new groceries until we've used everything in the fridge. We also often buy secondhand when we need something for the household.

What inspires you about nature?
Nature teaches you resilience and respect. You can learn an incredible amount about yourself and who you are as a person based on how you interact with nature.

Why and how are you raising your daughter to live sustainably?
My daughter follows my example and understands what a gift it is to explore nature, and that we should earn the right to do so. Sometimes that means cleaning up after others who haven't appreciated nature in the same way. This winter, we've removed more than 45 kg of trash from nature.
What values do you want to pass on to your daughter?
I hope Rosie will understand the value of nature and the animals that live in it. We can't enjoy nature's beauty and growth without respecting its importance ourselves.
How would you style Ocean Flow jewelry?
My styling of Ocean Flow is inspired by the things I love about nature. I love the layers you can see in nature in the mountains, the waves, and the trees. Stacking necklaces and rings is therefore always my go-to styling. I also find a mix of elements from nature inspiring. That's why I love mixing different metals and elements when creating my jewelry look.
